J. CLYDE INKS, has been a lifelong artist and attended NC A&T SU studying graphic arts and visual design before embarking on a solo art career. Born in Newport News, VA, he started from paintings, pencil drawings, and airbrushing shoes to embarking on a career tattooing full time in 2009 and eventually forming Feniks Art Company LLC in 2022. Currently J. Clyde Inks is versed in all tattooing styles but specializes in black and grey surrealism color realism, fine line, traditional, Japanese, and new school. “My specialty in art is being able to create from the craziest vison inside your head and make it a reality on skin.

J. Clyde Inks is currently working at Blue Horseshoe Tattoo at 1764 Independence blvd, Va Beach, Va 23455 and his main portfolio can b found on instagram @J_CLYDE. His day rate starts at $1500 and half day at $800.
