Terms and Conditions

All Artists

Every artist must provide a valid Virginia license or valid temporary license (see below for out of state artists) issued by DPOR. In addition, every artist must have documentation of DPOR approved current bloodborne pathogens, CPR, first aid training, and a valid identification card or driver’s license. All artists must comply with local, state, and federal rules and regulations. One party must agree to be the responsible party and disseminate the conditions of attendance with those sharing the booth space.

Out of State Artists

ALL artists from out of state must apply for and present upon check-in a valid Virginia limited term tattooer license (temporary tattooer license) from DPOR. The application MUST be submitted to DPOR 30 days prior to the event, but we suggest 90 days to be safe. All certifications (bloodborne pathogens, CPR, and first aid training) must be from an approved training provided (providers are available on the DPOR website). All documents and applications must be submitted to DPOR in accordance with the current rules and regulations.

Indemnification by ALL Participants and Vendors

The Participant, Vendor, Artist, and any associated personnel (collectively, “Indemnifying Party”) agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless promoters, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, contractors, volunteers, and representatives (collectively, “Indemnified Parties”) from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, expenses, fines, penalties, demands, actions, suits, costs, and expenses (including, but not limited to, reasonable attorneys’ fees and court costs) arising out any actions of the indemnifying party. This indemnification obligation shall survive the conclusion of the festival and remain in full force and effect.

Force Majeure Clause ALL VENDORS

If the tattoo festival is canceled or postponed due to any cause beyond the promoter’s control—including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, pandemics, acts of war, terrorism, power failures, or any unforeseen circumstances—no refunds will be issued. Vendors will receive a credit toward the next available show. The promoter shall not be held liable for any costs, damages, or losses incurred due to the cancellation or postponement.
